Jennifer Barker joined the Stevens Fine Homes team in 2011 as a Design Studio Consultant. In guiding home buyers through the process of building their new homes, Jennifer puts together their selections and turns a design into a finished product. "I love helping people design their homes. It allows me to be creative. Every buyer is different, but whether they're building a home to raise a family or a home to retire to, their goal is to have a special place to call home," she says. Jennifer has worked in the new construction industry since she was 19 years old, having done sales, marketing, design and property management. New construction is her passion. "A home is usually the biggest financial investment that people make during their lifetime. To me, the importance is so much more personal," she explains. "When I was a child, my parents were fortunate to build their dream home. In order to cut their costs, they decided to be their own contractors. They allowed me to be involved in every step of the process, from customizing a floor plan to choosing flooring and landscaping. I don't know if it was my age or destiny, but that experience left a huge impression on my life. I understand the meaning behind the process of building a home." After working with several builders thoughout her professional career, Jennifer chose Stevens Fine Homes for the company's determination to be the best in every step of the building process. "This includes being competitive in the marketplace, offering superior customer service, and keeping quality construction at the heart of the process.
